Come and enjoy an evening at the College Log Cabin with friends to celebrate late Cook College Professor Manganelli’s legacy. Hors d’oeuvres and adult beverages will be served. A fee of $40 per person will cover expenses with all proceeds to benefit the Dr. Raymond M. Manganelli Scholarship Fund.

Dr. Raymond M. Manganelli, founding father of the Rutgers University Air Pollution Training Program and an air pollution pioneer, passed away on September 21, 2005 at the age of 84.

During his 57 year career at Rutgers University Dr. Manganelli was an innovator and educator in the fields of air, water and noise pollution studies. Dr. Manganelli was highly influential in the development of air pollution science, lectured on the topic for more than twenty years, and was active in state and regional air pollution issues through his role on the New Jersey Clean Air Council. The Raymond M. Manganelli Scholarship Award is presented to a junior or senior majoring in environmental studies or science and is based on academic performance, scholastic ability, and interest in environmental studies. Donations can be made at any time to the Rutgers University Foundation for the Raymond M. Manganelli Scholarship Award.
