Young Alumni

Who are Young Alumni?

In the Alumni Relations arena one is "young" if one is GOLD - a Graduate Of the Last Decade. If your class has celebrated that 10 year reunion, it is generally time to move on to another level of alumni participation. The Young Alumni Committee of Cook and S.E.B.S. tries to be a little more flexible, reaching out to the young and young-at-heart.

Check out the following events. Suggestions for new events are always welcome. If you would like to join the Young Alumni Committee let us know. In addition to event planning, the group will be working on how to best communicate with S.E.B.S. alumni as Rutgers moves toward an all-university class structure.

YA Band & BBQ

Saturday July 26, 2008, estimated start 6 p.m.

We know you've just left, but you don't want to miss this. Call it your 0 year reunion. The class of 2003 will play host that evening as part of its 5 year reunion, but members of all young alumni classes will attend.  Round up your friends and be ready to meet new ones. The BBQ is held behind the Rec Center, near the swings. This event focuses on Cook/S.E.B.S. alumni but guests who can relate to the George H. Cook Campus are welcome.

Some details are still being worked out. Check back on this page or email us to be put on the e-news list. Put class of 2008 in the subject line and include a non-eden (or a non-Rutgers student account) email address. For information on the entire reunion weekend, click here.
